Chicago Bridges
The fact that many of the bridges in Chicago not only can move, but often actually do, never fails to blow my mind. During lunch one day I got to see them raise the bridges to let sailboats through to the lake. Also, I was trapped on the wrong side of the river, so I was going to watch it regardless.
